UR POLIS has existed in some shape or form for many years. When the Departments of Political Science and International Studies were amalgamated in 2014, UR POLIS became the official representative body of all students in the Department of Politics and International Studies.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, UR POLIS went through a revival phase. The Fall 2020 semester was when the current iteration of UR POLIS was created. UR POLIS has grown exponentially in the last few years, and the current Executive Council is looking forward to continuing to grow the club over the academic year and beyond!

Mission Statement
UR POLIS serves as the representative body of all students within the Department of Politics and International Studies. It acts as a liaison between students and faculty, hosts events that promote community building within the Department, and spreads engaged citizenship across the University of Regina campus.
