Kai is currently VP Marketing for UR POLIS and it is his first year on the executive.
Kai chose Political Science because he is passionate about puzzle solving and finding explanations to situations that dont make sense. Kai is passionate about academia and strives to have a career in both law and politics, one day running for political office. Kai is also the Website Analytics Coordinator for a student-led non-profit called InspirED Sask.
Beyond the textbook, Kai has a passion for officiating hockey across the province or coaching the Luther Boys High School Soccer Team. In his free time, he is at the gym, or reading up on Saskatchewan’s political history.
Kai’s favourite course thus far is PPP 200. It strengthens real world skills, like writing briefing notes and public speaking, and allows students to tackle complex issues through different lenses. Meet Your Representatives is Kai’s favourite UR POLIS event as it allows students to directly engage with those who represent them, and ask tough questions!
His advice to any student is to get involved on campus, and get to know your professors. Kai loves interacting with students and is always willing to meet with students who have questions, or just want to chat!
